Active Recreation is providing professional and reliable playground inspection and recreation services to school boards, daycares and municipalities throughout Eastern and Southern Ontario. We will achieve this by educating owner/operators on the state of their inventory so they can make informed decisions on how to provide a safe, innovative and challenging playspace for children.

Active Recreation is committed to safety.
On an annual basis in Canada, approximately 28,500 children are injured on playgrounds each year. Active Recreation is committed to doing its part to identify potential hazards on playgrounds and educating individuals on the importance of playground safety and maintenance.
We are also committed to the importance of play in assisting with a child's mental, physical and emotional growth.
Playground Inspections
Active Recreation is committed to providing their clients with an understanding of the condition and potential hazards of their playspace.
Each playground report outlines non-compliance areas and items according to the standard CAN/CSA Z614 "Children's Playspaces and Equipment". Reports are further enhanced through the use of site photos to assist clients in a visual understanding of the hazard rating assigned to each area and item.
Our goal at Active Recreation is to reduce and eliminate potentially life-threatening hazards that make a child's play experience a dangerous one. We can reach that joint vision together through comprehensive and professional playground inspections.
