 Who is Active Recreation?
Shelley Wagner is the owner and operator of Active
Recreation and over 10 years professional experience
in the field of recreation and playgrounds. Shelley
is also certified as a Canadian Certified Playground
Inspector through Canadian Parks and Recreation
Association (CPRA).
As the former Manager and national program
instructor of the Canadian Playground Safety
Institute (CPSI) delivered by the Canadian Parks and
Recreation Association (CPRA), you can be assured to
receive professional, quality service based on
knowledge and experience.
Shelley serves on a number of recreation and
playground related committees. She is a member of
the CSA Technical Committee for Z614 “Children’s
Playspaces and Equipment.” She is also a member of
Canadian Parks and Recreation Association and Parks
and Recreation Ontario.
Shelley is committed to ensuring there are safe
places for children to play and educating others on
